Where are you Derek?

Sorry to have abandoned this space for so long. I wanted to write a couple of paragraphs about something important to me, but in trying to clarify it I got involved in a long train of thought about some very fundamental issues. The more I thought about it, the more elusive the answers became. Some days I would go to this web page with the intention of starting a piece, and realize I still didn't have the faintest idea how to explain it, because I really did not understand it myself. In fact I still haven't resolved it, and doubt I ever shall. But now I am back in college full-time, as well as trying to run the business, plus maintain my other web-pages. If there is such a thing as spare time, I'm sure I don't know where one would find it. So I apologize for not being able to write here for a long time, but please don't give up on me OK?

never in life -- the giving up on you part. i find myself in a similar situation, with tons of stuff going on both inwardly and outwardly, and wanting to talk about it yet not wanting to at the same time, or not being really able to. so happy to hear, though, that you are well -- and grateful for this small sign of life.

Derek, I'm sorry to add onto this blog with my question but I couldn't figure out how to get my ? to you.
I love the master Index of the CIM and it helps me through some stumbling blocks. But I have a question I don't see there and wonder if you can help me. I have been studying and practicing the CIM for some time and have gotten through the workbook one time, now on my second and finally understanding what it's saying on deeper levels.
But I have some confusion about hynotherapy.
I have a sister who is a hynpnotherapist and just sent me an email from a client of hers who had allergies to everything under the sun and an "enormous black hole of pain" etc...then with ONE session with my sister is cured and healed and happy and joyous, etc...I wonder if this is possible, I understand the CIM is not about anything happening or not happening in the world or the body but it would help me to understand from a CIM perspective what the process is of hypnotherapy relative to the CIM. My sister seems to understand that all change happens in the mind(don['t know if she distinguishes between mind and brain)but I just don't get it... I"m confused.
Thank you.
Peace
Karen

Hey Derek, I understand this is a play world with play people doing play things. I understand the body is nothing, does nothing, and means nothing except in it's quest for truth. I no longer want to be a slave to the bodies wants, needs, and desires. How do I withdraw from the made up world into the Allness? Diane
